Porsche 911 (964): Rolling art and exclusive co-ownership

Project “Art meets Art – RWB”

There are vehicles that are machines. And there are vehicles that are art. With the "Art meets Art – RWB" project, we are initiating an extraordinary conversion and collector project that arises precisely at this intersection: automotive history, craftsmanship, and investment considerations united in a single vehicle.

At its heart is a 1990 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera 2 with manual transmission, equipped with RS suspension , one of the most purist and sought-after starting points for a RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB) conversion. The goal is to transform this vehicle into a unique RWB work of art – documented, curated, and structured as an exclusive co-ownership project with only three equal co-owners .

RWB – History, Culture and Uniqueness

RAUH-Welt Begriff, or RWB for short, is far more than just a body kit. Founded by Akira Nakai , RWB stands for uncompromising craftsmanship, radical individuality, and a global cult movement within the Porsche collector scene.

Currently, only around 500 genuine RWB vehicles exist worldwide – each one unique. No two conversions are alike. Nakai-san works without templates, without CNC, without industrial processes. Fenders are cut, fitted, and bolted on by hand – a process that is irreversible and requires utmost dedication.

This very consistency is what makes RWB vehicles so desirable: they are not reproducible, not scalable, and not suitable for mass production. Every RWB tells its own story – and that's exactly where our project comes in.

Art meets Art – The Project

The name was chosen deliberately. “Art meets Art” represents the connection between two disciplines:

  • classic Porsche engineering of the early 1990s

  • Contemporary automotive art through the RWB conversion

The planned renovation includes:

  • the complete RWB Widebody conversion

  • a custom paint finish , tailored to the concept and character

  • Complete documentation of the renovation (photos & videos)

  • Integrating the renovation as a curated event

The renovation is not a workshop process, but a cultural event that brings together collectors, enthusiasts, and partners. This very transparency and traceability is a crucial factor for its long-term relevance to collectors.

Why is this project an interesting opportunity?

The traditional automotive market is becoming increasingly interchangeable. Vehicles with character, a clear origin, and limited production numbers, on the other hand, are gaining in importance. A RWB (RAUH Welt Begriff) fulfills several value-relevant criteria at once:

  • Extremely limited number of units worldwide

  • documented origin of confirmed authenticity

  • strong international collector demand

  • cultural relevance beyond mere performance

The value of such a vehicle is not primarily defined by mileage , but by its history, uniqueness, and acceptance within the scene. Historically, RWB conversions have shown a high degree of value stability – in some cases even significant increases in value, depending on the design, base vehicle, and documentation.

Co-ownership structure & participation

The project is deliberately limited to only three co-owners . Each co-owner holds 33% of the vehicle .

Participation price per co-owner:

  • One-time entry costs: approx. CHF 33,699

  • Annual operating costs: approx. CHF 3,559

  • Total initial invoice amount for 33% stake including operating costs: approx. CHF 52,577

This structure allows you to become part of an exceptional collector vehicle without bearing the full capital commitment of sole ownership, while still enjoying full use, a transparent cost structure and professional management through Supercar Sharing.

Wanted: Two passionate co-owners

To implement this project, we are now looking for two selected partners who:

  • sharing a true passion for Porsche & RWB

  • understand the cultural value of such a project

  • want to be part of a curated, long-term collecting project

This is explicitly not a mass application process , but rather an application process on equal terms . The final selection is made consciously and personally.

It is an invitation to become part of something that cannot be repeated .

A rolling work of art. A story. An attitude.
